Mina Witteman is writer of thrillers, Young Adult novels and short stories. In 2005 she published her first children's book, Deedee's Revenge, with Van Goor Publishers. In 2007 The Sun Spirit was published, followed by The Soul Snatcher in 2008, both again with Van Goor Publishers. The Sun Spirit and The Soul Snatcher are the first two volumes of the tetralogy Warriors of the Sun, a fantasy adventure series for boys and tomboys set in that magic world of the indigenous peoples of the United States and Canada. 

'The Cookie Thief', a short read-aloud story for the very young, was published in a volume of short stories for tough boys: Knights, Dino's and Pirates (Ploegsma Publishers).

For Bobo, a biweekly magazine for grades 1 and 2 (circulation 45,000), Mina wrote a series of 21 short stories with the illustrations of world-famous Dutch illustrator Fiep Westendorp. The series, 'In Fiep Street' was published in 2007 and 2008.

Turing's Deceit, a.k.a. Dark Fiber is Mina's first thriller for adults. Literary agent Paul Sebes represents her.
