Mina Witteman is an author of thrillers, children's books, and short stories. She lives in Amsterdam with her husband and son. Mina has an education a editor of the University of Amsterdam and did an internship at Meulenhoff editors as part of that eduction. Prior to that she did a four-your course "Writing for children" with Script+ in Amsterdam. She published her first book "De wraak van Deedee" in 2005, followed in 2007 by "De Zonnegod" and in 2008 by "De Zielensluiper". The latter two are the first two volumes of a series taking place with the Indians in the United States and Canada. In 2007 and 2008, Mina wrote a series of stories called "In de straat van Fiep" for a magazine called "Bobo Magazine", a series of twenty short stories accompanying the illustrations of Fiep Westendorps.
